  We do NOT recommend this company. We spent £2750 to have a specialist damp proofing course fitted in our dining room and hall way. A damp proof membrane was laid followed by a self levelling floor. However, when the flooring fitter from Tapi flooring company came to fit the wooden flooring he reported the floor was was far too uneven for him to proceed. When we complained to Propotec the director was very unhelpful and disagreed that it was his company at fault. The director and his colleague came to investigate and reckoned it was Tapi's job to level the floor. The contract we signed up to included a self levelling floor to be laid. We were very upset as we paid a lot of money for this work to be undertaken and it caused us a lot of stress. We never did receive an apology. After several days and numerous phone calls Propotec finally offered to pay £100 for Tapi to level the floor WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE! (Tapi really stepped up and were superb in sorting out this issue). We would never recommend this company which is run by a grossly incompetent individual, to anybody. We thought they were a highly reputable company judging by their website - how wrong we were! We rarely write reviews but this review had to be written. Very angry and upset customers.
